For what it's worth The chassis on my pinto is an old Alston 2x3 mild steel rectangular framed tube chassis car. I had it front halved with round tube and struts to fix some minor front end damage that it had when I got the car. Hoping to have it around 2150-2200 lbs when finished with a 300/C-4 combo |

Homebuilt mild steel with S & W 3X2 frame rails, 4-Link, strut front end, little slant 6, Jerico trans, '61 Lancer all steel comes in at 2185 Lbs without driver. Built 20 years ago this December, with not many tools. 60-62 Valiants and Lancers are the best, not only good looking but they light and fast. |

I keep thinking I will finish it this year. I thought that the last 5 too. It is sitting down at the shop waiting for the motor/trans, so it is closer to done at least. |

If the Day Tuna goes the same way as the Duster I'll take it off yer hands when yer ready... (My Challenger has only been sitting in my garage on stands for about 2 1/2 years so far... I got an engine, tranny and fiberglass hood put in/on the Duster yesterday. (Missing a part for the ladder bars somewhere... |

Make me a good offer and you can have a Daytona, Duster, truck, a building full of tools and parts, and a building to keep it all in. |
