When I ran the Nittos on the dart, I could only dump the clutch at 2500 rpms without spinning the tires badly off the line. When I got the Mickey Thompson ET Streets I was leaving the line at right around 4000 without issue. With the mickey thompsons I never touched the air pressure from driving on the street to racing. I don't remember what I ran but i'd imagine I was running 35 or 40 lbs all the time. I was really happy with them. They only let me down one time, and that was at the stop light on the way home from Mason Dixon. Launched with nitrous and the tires spun, hit the rev limiter and burnt the side off a piston..... you remember that. |

Great perspective, Ryan. I may get the ET Streets for my next "traction limited" setup. I would like to run Project V sometime next year with 8-11 psi of boost and not have to go to big tires. Lou |
