The 68 Barracuda and the 83 D150 the 68B runs in the 15.7's at around 85 mph in the quarter. I have MPFI on the original '68 slant motor, using the OE: pistons, rings, rods ,bearings, valves. I did mill the head to get up to 8.5 compression and install a new timing chain and 318 valve springs. It has a built 904 and and 8.75 sure grip rear with 3:55 gears. the 83 D150 went through a frame off restro, complete rebuild on everything in that truck. Was not intended for drag racing but has been down the track. Runs in the mid 18's. The motor has .030 over pistons, 2 bbl carb, dual Dutra's, low rpm torque cam, OS valves. A833 OD tranny, 8.25 rear with 3.73 gears. Comfy interior, AC,,,,The truck has 30,000 + miles on it since the rebuild.

I have real pics of my cars, but not digital pics. If someone has digital pics of my 66 Valiant and/or my 66 Barracuda, and could post them, I would be grateful. PS: I did tow my 66 Valiant to Clay City, Ky, from Florida, with my 84 D-100 slant six-A833OD. |
