Stan

Thanks for posting the pictures of Woodburn. I'm not very good at that stuff.

Very few racers know that I have 9 rigs and 3 are drag race cars only.

1936 Plymouth ( Valiant ha ha ) slant 6 powered 904 built by my good friend Doug Powers
two Holley 500 cfm with Aussie speed headers 4:56 gears usually runs 13.60 @ 98 mph

1969 Valiant slant six powered 904 built by Doug two 450 QF carbs on 1/2 Hogan and 1/2 Mueller intake
4: 30 rear end gears Headers home made Last run at WB was 12.843 @ 103.18

1965 Valiant Wagon. This was my first ever race car. Purchased in middle 70's was my work car forever !
also powered by a slant 6 Lenco 5 speed 4:88 gears three Holley 350 cfm carbs home made intake also the
headers 11' clutch from ram roller camshaft from Oregon cam .650 lift 275* @ 0.050 tube frame with full roll cage
certified to 8.90;s ?? and runs on alcohol. best to date was 11.50 @ 115 mph

I started racing in the early 80"s I like to do things with the slant that everyone picks apart and says it will never work.
Thats the main reason I built the dual four intake and so far, the fastest the car has run.

With all that being said the 36 is my favorite. Change oil and reset valves once a year. Just add gas and go.

Thanks again Stan for getting me on a roll.

Thanks for posting Dave.

I’ve known about your Valiant wagon forever, but not the other cool stuff.

It’s good to “get to know you” a little better.

Thanks, Dave and Stan! I bet my 34 Dodge would be a pretty even race with your 36 Plymouth... We can drive em to Nebraska. ;)
