UBJ should thread into the UCA. At least on the 67 and up stuff it does. However, i vaugely remember thinking that there were some very early ones that got pressed in. So i may be wrong. At any rate, if the threads are stripped, throw a few spot welds on there and be done with it. :twisted:

I saw an add in one of the mopar magazines, might of been Just Suspension, that sell the dust boots seperately. Other then that the only way I know of to get them would be within the same box the ball joints come in.

I bought some tubular UCA's that came with the ball-joint already installed. So, I have no idea how it's mounted. I didn't have to do it.

Shows what my manual knows(says press in, but then again among other things I need to get I need to get a factory manual). Looked at my balljoints(the ones off the car), when I first saw them I thought they had rides that were simply vertical, but checked out after junkyardhero said they should thread in and they do. Dang, guess that means I only get to attack the bushings with a hammer(I find beating parts with a hammer somehow stress relieving :) ).
