OK, Thanks. I would like to try to reset the C/N 1/8 mile record, at one of the NC races. Then put the new 170 motor in the car for I-40 in TN. and go for the D/N record. |

I forgot to send my slips to Seymour from Woodburn 2012 and now I'm not sure where they are. I'm hoping to re-set the D/U record again later this year with a new torque converter and a bit more boost... Lou |

I was just looking at the records and I see that the B/S records are open. I guess I am a little confused about the unlimited class What are the requirements for it? or does anything go? in other words could a gas car or alcohol hold the unlimited record? |

I dont think so. The unlimited class is for boosted by either supercharger or turbo. Not an n/a car or nitrous car. Some one please correct if I am wrong here. Greg |

If the car is a NA motor on alcohol or gas, or if it is a nitrous car, it cannot hold an unlimited record. In other words, the car already fits into another class. The unlimited class was created to pick up only the cars that did not fit into one of the other existing classes. It's good to ask about these things before you start gunning for a record...
