I believe that once he gets his new setup dialed in that mph will go up considerably.

Even though I don't race much any more, My Dart is set up pretty darn close to what you are talking about and runs 13.40's to 13.70 @98 mph.About 2800 lbs with me in it.Clicked off a bunch of 40's this summer all with in 2 or 3 hundreths. Rule of thumb is 1/10 of a second for every 100 lbs lost. I need to go on a diet

Good air makes a big deal with these engines. Slight changes in air density makes big changes in your tenths of a second, at least for me.
