I don't fully understand I'm sure. But would'nt you make more money having 200 cars sign up and pay to race two days, 2 different race events, instead of one race spread over two day? You can call me stupid but I'd be willing to give him $50 each day to race. And I'm pretty sure that $100 is more than $50.

I can't make it any way, but if I could, I'm with Rick. Doesn't make sense to travel that far, and spend that much money, for one race over two days, for that payout. If it was for a $5,000 payout, that would be a different story. PS: I know slant six racing is not about the money, |

That is kind of a goofy setup. Hey Back in the day you guys and me would travel for Just one race. We have moved onto the double race weekends and now that's what we expect almost all the time. I would agree with Rick and Charrlie on this one. Maybe Rob can chat the Track guy up for a few more weeks before the Race to get the races what they want. Best of luck! Greg |

One race is not the problem, if on one day. But two days, means another motel nite, which in this case is more then the winner would get

Racing is not about the money, but 2 days for what will probably be a 3 or 4 round race is a tough sell. They must be expecting a huge turnout for the other classes. |

Not at this point. The Hemi and Nostalgia guys are balking at the format as well…They must be expecting a huge turnout for the other classes. We’ll just go and enjoy spending time with Slanted friends… and get to race a little too… Kinda like the old days… |

Been putting off posting as I keep working on the race car. Unfortunately I have run out of talent and I won't be ready to come to KY for the race. It has been a goal for me to make it, but I just won't make it. Maybe next year I will be ready. Sad Face Here. |

Well,… I’ll be….They did, in fact, change the Hemi and Nostalgia guys to 100% payout and racing both days. The rest of us are still stuck with the original schedule. |
