In the cases of all the bad Michelins I've had, all but one were OEM and they were factory upgrades as part of handling packages. Treadwear was not my complaint, it was noise, out of round condition and developing a set that made the car pull to one side.

Yes, I rotated as required and the cars were never driven hard. I have never had those problems with factory Goodyears or Firestones, but did have one replacement set of BFG's that went seriously out of round. They rode like a clown car!

I suppose it's a case of me getting the lemons, but it has occurred often enough to make me avoid Michelin at all costs.
