Depending on what year catalog you're looking at car or truck, info can be in section 14 fuel or section 21 transmission

I had forgotten about those long winded posts. LOL

My car repairs still take three steps forward and two back. Just the nature of the beast, or the incompetence of the wrench turner. Hard tell'in, not know'in.

Anyone here have an extra super 6 linkage set-up they can spare?
Don't need carb or manifold. Just the rest

Some guess work based on observations. The 82 parts book list the length of trans lever as 2.40 lenght center to center of large holes, the pivot points. Thats just about twice the arm lenght on carb at throttle shaft. Hard to measure but pivot points are close to 1.20 apart or 1 1/4 inch. Different carbs and years all pretty close to 1 1/4 inch. So it is not one to one movement ratio.

In that picture the distance between the yellow points carb pivot points is shorter than between yellow and green pivot points on tranny lever.

Image Thats the BBD throttle shaft arm.Distance from center of shaft to center of hole for kick down linkage pin close to 1.20 or about half the trans lever lenght.
