i just wanted to say hi as i have finally registered. I have owned 13 darts through the years. 7 years ago I sold my 71 prostreet dart to start a life with my wife. I was ok with selling it because my wife said that i could do what i wanted to her 66 Dart GT. She has owned it for 14 years now and it been driven off and on during that time. About 4 years ago I pulled the motor in it because i wanted to paint the enghine compartment. We painted it 99 beetle yellow and it looks great. i put a 4 bbl Clifford intake and headers. I put a bigger cam in it . I am making a nice Sunday driver out of it . I have a 8 3/4 with 3.55 Sure Grip large bolt pattern rear end The front end is lbp. I have torque thrust 2's all the way around it I have a ton of parts for it and am finally getting back into working on it. I will post some pic's soon William |

Welcome fellow slanter! There is an abundance of weathly knowledge lurking here! Enjoy the site! I happen to love '66 darts as well! Good luck with your project!  BTW- A certain slant six racer in a yellow '66 dartjust happened to influence me to want to race slant 6's   I think we know who that is! Yep-! Ron Hamby!! |
