Don't think it has a slant, but check out what I saw in a barn this weekend, a 1951 Dodge. I'm trying to track down the owner. Neighbors say the place has been unoccupied for about 20 years. Wish me luck, Jerry |

That would be a sweet project Jerry! (Just check for bad rust first! I've got a big window '56 waiting for someday.... There was a really well done '40 something with a Slant 6 transplant in the Phoenix area back in the early 90's. He showed up to one of our Slant 6 Club of America car shows and took best of show. Then there's the Plymouth truck in Bisbee I've had my eye on for awhile... Let us know if you are able to get this one. We'd love to see another father-son project to go with the "Sport". |

That is a great truck!!! I had a '53 in high school. Man, do I miss that truck. I hope you are able to snag it up. Keep us posted! Does it say "Job-Rated" on the grill? |

Didn't look on the grill, so I can't say about the "job rated". I talked today with the owner's brother-in-law. As it turns out, I worked with him about twenty years ago at an engineering office. He is going to make first contact for me (says not to get my hopes up). The truck was the owner's back when he was in high school and has been sitting for 30-35 years. I'm not going to give up just yet. Jerry |
