I just got off the phone with Clifford Performance. They informed me that Jack Clifford had died of a heart attack on Dec 5, 2001 at the age of 73. Condolences to his family.

I'm sorry to hear of Jack's passing, he will be missed, especially with the Hudson followers, Hudsons were always Jack's true passion and led him into the inliner engine focus his company is known for today.

Jack spent many years racing Hudsons and people like Meril Bruner had raced against him over the years. I can't help but think that Jack is up there somewhere racing a Hudson, on that big dragstrip in the sky.
