I am sure you all know there was no slant six around in the 1957 Plymouths ... that began in 1960 ... but since my slant six in my 73 Valiant had been rebuilt, and the car was getting to rusty to fix anymore ... I took the slant six out, and installed it in a 57 Plymouth Savoy 2 dr ht ... (yes I love the finned cars, but I also love my slant six!) I also installed a standard trans from a 1980 Dodge pick up (with the overdrive), a sure grip rearend .... and even disc brakes ... this will be my daily driver when it is finished ....
Here is the 57 on its way for the engine swap, with the old reliable Valiant (which I will miss)

You may note the engine is hopped up a bit ... and has a four barrel carb, and the twin headers .... I am hoping to have this thing on the road for summer ... finished or not
And finally, the 57 Plymouth isn't really a Fury, but the title mistakenly says Plymouth Fury, so I bought the Fury trim, name plates, grill, and wheel covers from a Fury, and will make it a poor man's Fury
