Dusters are just cool! Not as cool as '64 Valiants, but then, what is? :lol: :lol:

Cheap things to do (I have some experience being broke while working on a car):

Clean up that engine bay. Spray degreaser is cheap from the dollar stores, better stuff is available from the major brands. The same is true for scubbing pads, sponges, etc.

Gently wirebrush the rust off various fittings and brackets.

A little paint on the small pieces really helps the underhood appearance. I don't worry about duplicating the factory appearance, but almost anything looks better than rust.

Yeah I got some degreaser and I had some gooey stuff that I dont have any clue what it is. It seems like glue, once you get it on something its almost impossible to get off. I let the degreaser sit on it pretty long and it still didnt come off. I dont know what I can do to get it off.

The guys at my work tell me that Awesome cleaner works great with grease and stuff like that. I haven't used it myself because I've been in the process of rewiring so... But they sell it at dollar stores. Hope that helps. -Dan
