Well, it's finally time I got around to posting pics of my ride. I bought it the summer of my senior year of high school and had a budget of negative alot. I've been absolutley frustrated to no end at time, but with the help of my dad I've gotton through it. Here's some pictures of the first day I brought it home.

Here's a picture a while later while putting back together the interior. The floor boards were pretty rusted out. The fronts still need to be replaced, the owner before me layed tin down over the rust and put crappy sealant all around it.

Fresh paint and new stripes. Everyone though it would look pretty horrible, but I thought it turned out pretty good.

Well, I originally gave up a 360 car cause dad said it would be too fast. After trying to many carbs and having the tranny slip we decided it was time to go through the engine and tranny. The quick specs are:
1968 short block - new bearings and seals, 40 overbore, 270 duration with .44 lift.
Head - 3 angle grind, .1 shave, new seats, 1.77/1.44 valves, bowl polishing.
Tranny - A-833od with rebuild kit and hurst shifter
Intake - Megasquirt EFI with 350 TBI unit, 2 x 55lb/hr injectors

Looks like fun. Is the throttle body unit off set for the bolt patern or for other reasons?

Great work! I think you're gonna need bigger injectors...

Do you have any 1/4 mile times for that car?
I have a 72 Duster /6, and I'm looking to beef it up. First I'll hit the suspension, though. Engine will be later with more budget.

Um... no quarter mile times yet. I'm monkeying with the car again and building a four link for it. Sometime in June I'll have a timeslip for it.
The suspension is all polyurethane from Just Suspension it took me two days to install it which wasn't bad at all. Both front and rear sway bars to go with. Someday might switch to the Alterkation style front, but want to put some Autocross times on it first.
