Post subject:  Knoxville Race - Aug. 23 - rollcall
Hey Folks,

Time to start planning for the Knoxville, TN race folks!

I'll be there with my '68 Dart. If I can find another driver, I may also bring the '64 Dart.

This one'll be a real hoot. Meril and Ella Bruner will be hosting a big feed at their house before the race on Saturday. They live about 1/2 mile from the track. We should have a big turnout with all the GA and TN boyz coming, and hopefully most of the NC folks.

Phil and Dan coming down from PA (to Bristol instead?)? Any OH or IN Slanters out there who can join us?

Norm will be there. Nothing wrong with the car except my header wrap came loose and the noise was the header hitting the oil pan after it warmed up. I would also thing Derick with the truck would be there since he lives close by. Dale, Ron and myself are racing this weekend at Brainerd.

Where is the track in Knoxville?

Track is in Maynardville, just north of Knoxville. Race is on the 23rd of August.

I'm starting to keep an eye on the weather, especially that storm in the Carribean :roll: Would this race be run on Sunday if it gets rained out on Saturday?
