Hey all, just a quick question. What size of deep socket do I need to remove the pinion nut on a 7 1/4 rear end? I want to minimize the hassle when I get to changing my pinion seal tommorrow. Thanks!

one and one-quarter inch (1 1/4), Don't need deep socket. You my need to use a large pipe wrench on the yoke to hold it from rotating. Be prepared, the nut is torqued to min 240 ftlbs
