Ive been registered here but never posted, just kinda lurked around.Well its about time for me to get with the program and introduce myself. My name is Chris,Im from Southeastern Arizona and the owner of 3 Mopars. 1 is my 65 Fury III wagon,Another is a 78 Chrysler Cordoba and lastly is my 72 Dodge Dart Swinger Special 2 door . Since this is a Slant 6 site,Ill talk about my Dart(If anyone wants info on my other cars, just ask) My Dart is VERY lightly optioned. No power steering,No power Brakes,No Radio from the factory,I think the fender tag decodes as it having a drivers mirror and side moulding and thats IT. Has no Carpet, just a Rubber floor mat that runs throughout the car. It was origianlly powered by a 198 Slant 6,but someone swapped in a later model(1976) 225 Slant 6. The car is also equipped with a 3 speed Manual on the column. Exterior on the car is White and the interior is B5 Blue.Car was equipped with the redline Aluminum dog dish Hubcaps which I will be keeping on the car. It was sitting for many years prior to me getting it,so Im just trying to revive it. Im currently working on installing a Mopar Electronic ignition. (They put the points distributor back on the newer engine when they did the engine swap,Why? I dont know) Im also scuffing the exterior(Had some surface rust on the roof) and shooting it Rattle can White Primer. Interior on the car isnt bad,Could use seat covers as the stitching in the seats is coming apart from the dry Az heat.Back seat looks mint as doo the door panels. It needs a headliner kit,and I found a Brand new one still in the box in the back seat. Its not Exactly B5 Blue but it will work. The dash pad is faded and brittle, but doesnt have a single crack in it. This car will be a driver for me and is going to stay a Slant 6 car.

Ah; another straggler from another site I occasionally visit. That wagon's cool; I'd like to do one like that up as a true 2 door, ala Nomad; (no chaining the rears shut; I mean 2 door doors, move the B pillar, the whole works) what is that behind the Dart; from the side view looks like maybe a 68-70 Galaxie? |

What you see in the background behind the Dart is my Wifes 71 Oldsmobile Cutlass, that I am eventually gonna get roadworthy again,I broke the ignition rack on it 2 years ago and havent had the courage to work on it. |
