Here is a link to my photos.

My grandpa gave this for my mom to drive to college; she gave it to me when I graduated from college. My dad and I worked on it here and there when I was growing up. We replaced the top, had it reupholstered, and repainted it about 15 years ago. No major engine work has ever been done. Some rust around the wheel wells, and the rear quarter panels were completely rusted out.

I just drove it from Ohio to Texas, and it ran great! Got about 20 mpg. I just rebuilt the fuel pump and carb. The rest is mainly stock. The differential seals are leaking and the head gasket leaks. Any suggestions on the methodology to replace the gaskets? I'm no mechanic, and don't have many special tools. Comments welcome!

Sweet car! I knew a guy when I was in college in 1964 who had one just like that. I loved it then and still do.

:D The Houston area had a pretty active Mopar club at last check, I'll see if we can come up with a contact number. If not somebody in the club itself, they should know someone who speaks Slant.

Pretty, pretty car.....

Your Dart is BEEAAUUTIIFFUULL :D
My Grandma gave me her 64 Dart G.T. when i was 16, it was only 19 years old then. She bought it used in 1967, the year I was born.
Get yourself a good repair manual and you'll do just fine!
Good luck and have fun :D

It's a great looking car. You might buy a Service Manual for your car off of Ebay to do the work yourself. I had a 66 Dart that I had the engine rebuilt and new paint job, sweet car. I did find a reliable mechanic for the things that I don't want to do. Have fun with your car, jerry7777.
