Howdy all,
First, do you think $500 for a daily driving '66 Valiant is a good price? LOL (It's not a $200 non-running one!!) Going to look at it today and I will let you know what model and what condition it's in later.

Second, what collector do ya use on homemade "Dutra Dual"? I am slowley starting to work on a set and was wondering where to get one and what to use?

Thanks for any and all opinions!
Later,
Dan

Flowmaster makes a nice "Y-Pipe" collector, order through Summit for a bit over $30.00 or just weld-up your own, I use pieces of old driveshaft tube as "raw materials".

Doc, that is a nice looking unit, but I screwed up. What I was looking for is the piece that actually gets welded to the front "dual" to bolt the collector to? Sorry for being a bit goofy!
Thanks,
Dan

For "homemade" front sections (or special rear sections) I use the stock cast iron factory outlet, (2 inch opening) cut from the stock manifold, relocated and welded onto the new location.

Doc,
Have you tried the Lynx DCOE intake in the PIC? I've heard they don't work all that well, but would be curious to hear about your experience with it.
