Some scum bag broke into my wife's '95 LHS last night. When the alarm went off, the low-life beat feet. Evidentally, he used a screwdriver. Does anyone have any good suggestions on how to prevent it from being stolen fglmopar@aol.com |

Does anyone have any good : suggestions on how to prevent it from being : stolen I work at a custom car audio, security business. We hear stories like this all the time. Unfortunately, if a "professional" wants your car, there is not much you can do. Fortunately, most vandalism and break-ins are done by less experienced thieves. Forget about factory alarms, they are useless, but a good aftermarket alarm with a proximity sensor can scare off most amateurs. This sensor starts to chirp when anyone comes within a foot or two of the car. Dan M. |

They don't use much electricity and these things comming on will usually scare someone off. soupitup@msn.com |
