62 Lancer @ 2700 lbs.
4.30 gearing, 12.70 et @ 104 mph
Hitting 6000 at the finish line w/ 26 inch tires.
(My Hyper-Pak intake likes the lower RPMs...)
I "geared-up" from 4.56 and would go back to that ratio if not spraying N2O

wow thank you guys! seems like ET vs Trap RPM is all over the place!

it seems that weight is a major factor in gear... i noticed that the lighter cars arn't using more than a 4.30 but the 3K and up are in the 4.56 range...

very interesting...

im just looking at my set up and it seems that 4.56's would not gain me a 600-900 rpm gain from 3.91's...

Seymore also runs 456s.Ed,stuff some 488s in it and twist the poop out of it.Then you can re build the motor the way you want and the way you would if you had it to do again.I know your next will bee even better.mark

see and I have 28 inch tires so 4.56's sound like a safer bet...
