I don't know the answer to your question ; however , I know that for years people have been swapping out the "lean burn" for a standard electronic ignition system. I work as a tech at a chrysler dealership , and was told by the old veterine's that it was a very common swap that was performed back in the day as the lean burn system is "junk". That being said , I've also heard alot of people on boards such as this say "the first thing I would do is get rid of that lean burn"
so that's my advice. you can still get a complete kit to perform the swap right from chysler , or go with some of the aftermarket systems like pertronix that alot of people use , or go the junk yard route.
