Our Awards (for last season) Banquet dinner will be held Friday night 7/15 at the Samoa Cookhouse. As you may remember we were rained-out at Redding last October. The Killer Bees Team is sponsoring the dinner, so let's have a record-big turnout of racers. 17 racers will make it a 50 point race and will also give us an extra chance to outpoint the East this year. *****Samoa Racers***** 1. There is more info....: The Clarion Hotel here in Eureka is giving our race team members rooms for $70 plus tax.They include a breakfast and light dinner bar. Clarion 707-442-3261 Make reservations ASAP, as rooms for that weekend are booking fast. Jessica and I will be hosting the Saturday BBQ once again, so be sure to bring an empty stomach. Also, I will be racing....and if I can get the 64 together, Jessica will race also. |

... But we will not be able to make Samoa due to finances. We are shooting for the next race in Woodburn.. Here's hoping all of you going have a GREAT time and do well... Kevin and Debbie Esteb P.S. One of Kev's pet peeves was he has not been able to practice at the local racetrack to see how the Dart does. July 17th is another test and tune at Monroe.. Wow!! Slant 6 Billing on Samoa Dragstrip's website! Nice. Good Luck to everyone. Hopefully you will have lots of fast runs - it's easy when your track elevation is ~7 feet  I am envious. Greg |

And the air is cool... even cold sometimes, it blow-in right-off the Pacific Ocean.The bad news... that whole area is a known tsunami zone. DD |

Rhonda is going to try to make it her 66 Valiant, Looks pretty good for that... I might be able to make it with my 67 Dart "SIX SHOOTER"...I got the brake parts (NEW DRUMS & SHOES ALL THE WAY AROUND) today and will look at ordering the the tires on Tues.... I am not sure if my quasi Bro in law will be able to make it back to place to assist on the Dart this weekend ( I HOPE SO)... If so, It should be good to go... He knows some much more than I!!! Thats right Andrew...I ADMIT IT!!!!!! |
