I've been told that stock rods are good to 350 hp, but I'm wondering if there have ever been any block or crank failures (cast or forged) when a /6 was built to high HP, or with turbos or nitrous. I don't remember hearing of any that had the block or crank break first.

I've seen a few broken cranks, but I think there were other problems that led up to it like a hydrauliced cylinder. Mike and Blaine have been over 500 horse on NAWS and kept all the pieces inside.:D
