I'm on the way to buy a DODGE CORONET 440 (4 doors) from 1967 here in France.
I was surprised to see this car with a Slant 6 engine instead of a 440. Is this usual to have this car with this engine ? Special for European countries ? What kind a Slant Six were mounted on this model ?
Thank you very much for your help
Mark

My Standard Catalog of Chrysler states that a total of 92,500 Cornet 440's were built in 1967. Of these, 8,600 were 225ci /6's.

The 225 was the base engine for almost all of Mopar's cars and light trucks for most of it's (the engine's) life.

The numbers already posted are interesting, but I can't help but wonder how many of those slant B-bodies were exported, (imported from your viewpoint). Just think.....you could have a quite rare car, for Europe anyway. :!:
