The Challenger has big slicks and screws in the rims. The tires go flat within just a couple days. One of the fronts does too..

You Probably have a leaky valve stem and or a leaky rim seal on the front.. Tubes in the rear. Air em up& spray a solution of dish soap and water to find the leaks.. Greg |

My secret to success: Take them off, dump the air, and store them in a cool dark place. Race slicks: Throw them away when they are two years old. Get fed up, and boil steet tires. adjust dial accordingly! CJ |

The real correct answer is coat the inside of the tires with dawn dish soap several times before mounting,Serious,,google it.Works for my car.I dont run tubes and dont need to add air.Guzzi Mark |

What would a fix be for a leaky rim seal?BEAD SEALER Soap works well too, espically for getting the tire to pop over the rim but repeated applications of soap on the rims tend to cause corrosion.. so I use a slimy armor all type stuff for that purpose as it's oil based. Greg |

Reed. Tires leaking around the bead has become a real problem in the last few years. Being. in the tire business i see this everyday. The best way to fix this is to use a flap wheel on a grinder and remove all the peeling chrome and corrosion from the bead flange. Prime and paint. Apply bead sealer we use the Myers brand. MT tire using wd40 and set to desired pressure. Normally this will last the life of the tire if the wheels are kept clean in the winter. |
