Here's the link to an old slant six land speed racer that's currently for sale on the landracing web site. Some of you might find it of interest. www.landracing.com/forum/index.php/topic,12128.0.html As the ad says, it set its class record back in the 1960's at a speed just under 150 mph. The owner says it ran only the 170 motor, though he also has a 225 that goes with the car. The 170 was bored .100" over for 180 ci total. Modified stock intake ran AFB carb, mildly ported head, 1 5/8" pipes with no collector. Made 205 HP at 6,200 rpm. |

Cool, plus I noticed that the trailer looks a lot like Seymour's old one that Ryan has!  Are you going to buy this one Rob. It would look pretty setting in the tall grass beside your garage. Covalt |
