Throw those 100 jets in the garbage. Way too big. I would start with 75-100 HP max. What is your "flowing" fuel pressure? See this chart for jeting suggestions. http://www.holley.com/data/TechService/ ... FO%202.pdf I am running about 150 hp. but I have a fogger. |

What Charlie said. 1 pound of fuel pressure makes a big difference in jetting, power level, and safety of the tune. Fuel rich and you'll break ring lands, nitrous rich and you'll take off plug electrodes and hole pistons. Too much timing and you'll knock head gaskets out like candy. |

thanks for the needed help guys, We are getting 85 psi on the electric fuel pump. but i am afraid of draining the fuel cell in a couple seconds. I have great pressure from the nitrous tank and it has been inspected, tested & filled. also a vent and purge has been installed. right now i am dialing in the carb and working on how she runs before the tank is cracked. at the moment i am destroying u joints like candy any more info is awesome and when i know more I will ask better questions neil |

Neil, have you read up on nitrous systems? That much fuel pressure is used with fuel injection. If you are using a plate nitrous system, you will want you fuel pressure between 5.5 and 7 psi flowing. You balance the fuel pressure, nitrous pressure, fuel jet size and nitrous jet size, to get the power level and fuel to nitrous ratio you want. The nitrous system, on my Cuda, has twin electric pumps in parrallel (redundency), that flow 50 gph at 50 psi, each. They feed a return type pressure regulator, set for 15 psi. That feeds a "Holley" type regulator, set for 6psi for the jetting I am running at this time. Since mine is a fogger, to change power level, I have to change either 6 jets and fuel pressure, or 12 jets. To get a small change, I can change the bottle pressure , and the fuel pressure, without changing jets. |

1# of fuel pressure or 100# of bottle pressure will change your tune-up a ton. I always sprayed off the Holley pump and regulator on the car. I ran 5 psi flowing through the solenoid and jet, and the carb was happy with it. Bottle pressure was kept as close to 900 as possible. 100 lower and you go fuel rich and slow down. 1000 or more and you go fuel lean and speed up, right up until it eats itself. |

thanks a ton for the info guys, I am reading up on nitrous and have put the electric fuel pump in the garage in a box. I will get a smaller pump and run about 5 to 9 psi. I will be running a regulator i scored off my nomad project I am working on. That should help keep the fuel in range. Now I am trying to work out the bottle pressure, cause its either on or off. so i could use some advice there and then I will ask more about the jets and the amount of boost. thanks N |
