Anybody got the instruction manual for the old red Sunnen?

How about a link? Haven't found anything useful with Google. Probably just holding the mouse wrong.

There's not really a written manual for one that I know of. The use of it is pretty straight forward. You can check rod straightness in 2 planes for being bent and twisted. Are you missing any parts to it?

Looks like the one you have is a model TN-110 with the TN-50 bend and twist indicator.

The pic with the rod with the wrist pin sticking through it is the most common way its used. Its harder to use checking a press fit type rod, you have to have a wrist pin polished to fit into the rods S/E but it works good.

Not missing parts. Interesting link, thanks Mike. Where was it that was selling the oil you mentioned? Still need to get some 10 weight for the spindle on the valve grinder.
