How about we show off some of our slant race cars? I'll go first, although this is an older pic, the car looks the same (except a little more dismantled). No performance data yet, but it will look this way when it (finally) debuts at one of the Slant meets. This thread is a fantastic idea. Great looking B-body. My first old hobby stock dirt car was a '65 Satellite. I hope to have a street/strip car to join in with next season. Please keep this one going guys. More race car pics please. |

The Belvedere is replacing this car, street driven, 65 Sport Fury convertible. It runs 12.35 (1/4) on street tires, through the mufflers. In my mind it's done. But the truth is this has been at least a 35 year dream of mine. Orange one got stolen, but the silver one waits patiently for her time on the concrete. 71 Dodge Colt.

Do you have enough wheelbase? A slant with a 4 sp Lenco is very long.
