Hi all,

I have received an order for a linkage and shift tab on my A833 transmission. However, the articulation point for the reverse (what is that called by the way?) only sits about 1/16th of an inch inside the slot in the shift tab. Is this correct? The rectangular portion of the articulation point is also a bit rounded. If I pull that part out could I add some material to the rounded edges and file everything back into shape (via welding)?

when you fit the tab on, and tighten it down it will pull the reverse pin up more flush with the tab.

Ah ha!

That's the kind of in depth knowledge I need! Thanks Greg, you saved me a lot of effort and headache.
