Post subject:  Disc brakes on 1963 valiant

I have spindles from 1975 Dodge Dart I am buying tubular upper control arms with large upper ball joints

Question is lower ball joints do I buy 1963 valiant?? Or 1975 dart thanks

1975 Dart lower ball joints are needed to match the spindles.

The ball joints have nubs which contact the lower control arms to limit steering angle. It's likely your early lower control arms are raised in this area for the same purpose. Having both restricts the turning circle. You can heat and flatten the bump on the lower control arm or grind the numbs off the ball joints. You'll hate parking the car if you don't do one or the other.
