Post subject:  Inline tube dual master cylinder conversion

Im having a lot of trouble figuring out the inline tubes dual master cylinder conversion kit that came with the block and pre bent lines. I have all of the hard lines run but it does not look like the original location of the block is suitable for the new block, it seems like the lines coming from the master cylinder will not reach the new portioning block, if left in the stock location, which it is supposed to be, according to the description on inline tubes website. If any of you have done this conversion with the inline tubes kit is it necessary to move the new proportioning block to a new location I'm a bit confused as to how this is all supposed to Route properly and any help anyone can give me would be surely appreciate it.

Thank you.

Have you contacted the Inline Tube Tech Line?
I have used Inline Tube kits to re plumb two different vehicles with out issues. Although I did not use the Inline Tube MC, I used one from Dr Diff. Who knows they may have inadvertently sent you the wrong parts.

Yes, I did contact them, their customer service is not the best. I did get a message from a tech there but was unable to reach a human. Anyway I wound up relocating the dist. block and making my own lines from the MC to the distribution block. Never found out if I just received the wrong lines or not. In the future buyer beware.

Thanks

This might be your problem:

I have a 1963 Dodge Dart GT hardtop, which has an 111" wheelbase.

When I ordered from Inline Tube, they shipped the lines for the 1963 Valiant, which has a 106" wheelbase.

They told me the wheelbase on my car must be wrong, as all 1963 Darts have a 106" wheelbase, or I really have a '64 to '66 Dart which is 111".

They insisted that their catalog was correct and I was mistaken!

If you have a 1963 Dart, order a set for '64 to '66.
