My SG slips. It is now opened and seem to be rebuildable with some machining and shimming. However the spider gears - two small in the little axle are worn. Are those available as spares? Do open diff version have same parts there?

I would have to check part numbers. The clutch type 7 1/4 SG's have 4 spider gears, and those are different then the gears for the open 7 1/4

Please check if you can. Could it be possible that for example 8.75" has had same gears there?

And if someone has a set of good used gears free I am interested to buy them.

I can't locate those gears in the parts manuals. The only 7 1/4 differential gears I can locate are for the open, or the clutch type SG. Those are different from each other. To be honest, I have never seen a cone type 7 1/4 SG.

Ok and thanks. It will be rebuilt with gears it have in. As soon it is gone the whole axle will be replaced with another which has better availability for parts. A Toyota Hi-Lux axle... has same 4.1 gear ratio as this one.
