If you're having problems, you can post here...I have yet to see a Haynes or Chilton's manual that's going to help you 'troubleshoot' a wiped out carb, or a stuck choke....

If the 'stack' ran on the previous car, you should have a very good chance at it running on your car....

Torque manifold to head nuts at 10 ft/lbs....

Better take a closer look at that car, as I read somewhere that all Aspen and Volare wagons that were /6 equipped came standard with the Super version, after 78.

You might try Faxon Auto Literature @ 800-458-2734. They are loacated inRiverside, CA, and have been able to find books for me in the past. Good luck. RMDV

I have a chilton for your beast. Paid a whole 75 cents for it, and although missing a couple of pages in a/c heating system is otherwise complete. Agree does not cover in detail the super six and does briefly mention carbs and fuel systems (smog era, no playing with uncle sams mandates), but no real hands on stuff thats why were all here...Dave
