Can anyone tell me if changing from a power to a manual steering box requires a steering column change? I'm referring to early 70's A bodies, Darts/Dusters and the like. |

The column jacket is the same, but the shaft is shorter on a power steering car and the couplers have different dia. splines. Must do one of the following: Get column from manual steer car, purchase adapter (big $$$), or safely lengthen shaft. "DW" |
