I've shucked parts for this upgrade...

If looking for 12" disc brakes, the easiest to bolt onto the 1973-1976 spindles is the mid-70's B-body pin type discs. I've heard some guys get some binding with the sliders, but I've also heard they stop on the dime (but you also have to have 15" rims...).
So far I've been pretty happy with the little floating caliper manual disk brakes on both my dusters, but with 1975-1978 Fury's and Coronets being common in some junkyards, it might be easy just to pull the set for $40 and get the rotors faced,etc...

good luck,

I've got two Darts. one with pin type and one with sliders. The one with sliders works a little better, and is quieter, but you have to file off any spreading that takes place at the end of the pin for the calipers will slide smoothly. They both work well.
