| Post subject: | Parking Brake? |
There doesn't seem to be a provision for a parking brake. That's ok on a race car. Not so good on a daily driver. On their web site they have an add on parking brake ffor $180 a side. Kind of throws the price out the window. I like the multi bolt pattern idea. I'm not stuck if I decide go 4.5" in teh future. Mike |

Mike, Look at www.tsmmfg.com. I have theirs on my '64 and they work great. I may be homebrewing my next rear disc set though... Lou |

Nice! Driveline brakes are used on heavy equipment, forklifts, medium duty trucks and school buses all the time. They work very well! |

I have that setup on my workbench, but haven't installed it yet. Hey, it's only been a year since I bought it! Lou |

Lou, you sneaky mofo! you never told me your 64 was disk on all the corners! meanwhile i torture myself with 11" single pos on the front and 10X2.5's out back... Actually, all kidding aside, i'm old school and i wouldn't have it any other way! nuthin' like goin' into a corner buck-sideways at 80~85mph! Speaking of homebrew disk kits... GM Outlaw calipers for 90bux, caliper brackets for 20, some stainless drop lines and a metering block, then grab those nifty multi-pattern wilwood rear rotors. Hmmm... you think that i can put it together for under three hundy? Methinks the pads are gonna be a little spendy. *laughs* -JYH hey, lest you judge i'm just as sick and twisted as the rest of you! |
