Post subject:  Left Hand Lug Nuts...???

I'm about to go insane looking for 10 7/16 bulge acorn lug nuts for my Dart (so I can mount my American Racing Outlaw IIs). I've tried Summit and have been scouring ebay for the last couple weeks to no avail. Does anyone make these things anymore? I really don't want to get rid of the LH studs...because I'm a huge nerd and for some reason think that their uniqueness makes then cool, but, at the same time, I'm growing increasingly impatient.
Supposing that I could actually find a JY within driving distace that had pre-70's mopars in it, could I then take the pass side hubs off another car and use those? Or, if that's just crazy talk, could I replace the studs with RH ones, and then at some later point put the original LHs back on? And how difficult will that be? Someone please help me before the white coats come and put me in a padded room.

thanks,
josh

Yeah...so...forget about that whole "hubs" part. I think the stress was just getting to me when I wrote that. Does anyone know if Lug Nuts for Mopar Ralleys would work for my application?

thanks,
josh

NationalMoparts.com should be able to hook you up with used lugnuts. They have trailers full of 9" drums and hubs... I should know. If it's new stuff youre after, collectorsautosupply.com has only five NOS LH studs. I know because I ordered them, my insurance sucked my card dry so it didn't clear, and I bought a hub with good studs from National before payday.

*groan* Yes, RH thread wheel studs WILL work. You can get them at any NAPA store. If you want LH thread, collectors has five original left... after that, there is no more. Try to find used ones, that's what I did. The premise with LH thread is that technically, they are less likely to work loose on the LEFT side of the car as a result of wheel rotation. Heavy trucks and equipment use LH thread on lug nuts and bearing nuts for the same reason. On the Abody, RH studs work just as well. Will I use them? No, and I wont swap my slant for a V8, either.
