Jim, I took Rodney in the final round of the shoot out for the win. Parker lost in the second round when he broke out by .014. We had some good close races. We had 13 cars on Sat. With Toms wreck, Larry Chesney had oil pump problems. Merl's Half Hemi lost a cyllinder, and Lou had to leave Sat. That left us with 9 cars for the first round.
Dale Rose took me out in first round of fast four and Barry Harrison took out Gary Bruner. Then the sky opened up and that was it for the weekend. It was a good weekend of racing. We all felt bad about Tom's bad luck but are happy he didn't get hurt.

I was just reflecting what happened last weekend. Some things are more important than others. We got beat by Ron Hamby in the second round, I doint feel bad about that. You race a three time national champion sometimes you lose. But now we go on,,we had a good car and i finily figured the out the LED tree so watch out.

I know what your thinking Bagel is that as fast as his car will go or not but this being the SlantSix Shoot Out you have to ask your self do you feel lucky. Well Do You Bagel

You may have a real easy time with me Ol' Buddy. RT66 went to LED's this year and I can't hit the tree with a shovel. (Not like I could ever hit a regular tree anyway)

Motor should go back in the red car this week. Maybe it will run good enough to get out of it's own way now.
