The motor had been built when I bought the car, it had a complete rebuild done about 3000 miles ago. It got a new crank, "perf. Cam" ( I don't know the specs, I have to do some checking), new pistons, the rods were resized, head was rebuilt with new valves ( not sure if any milling or oversized valves) all of this was on an invoice I recieved with the car, unfortunately they did not give part numbers or specify what was done as far as machine work
All the peripherals were replaced (water pump, fuel pump etc) and it got electronic ignition. Since I have gotten the car, I have fixed the header exhaust leak, repaired the notorious fuel/temp guage problem, repaired the fuel sending unit, painted the motor and replaced the master cylinder. Right now I have the seats at the upholstery shop and am saving $$ for new carpets. I have a slight leakage at the rear of the head (gasket I am sure), I am going to try and tighten up the head bolts, but if that doesn;t work looks like the head's coming off, I will take it in and have some more work done to it then.Jesse
