Well, after too long, I'm a six driver again, not just an owner! My 64 Dart is still in pieces, but I found a 65 Val 100 4dr, just like my 1st car, right down to the 170, 3-tree, 3.23 set. I took about 4 turns out of the bars, cleaned up the wheel cylinders, and we're on the road! You don't want to see pictures of it right now, it's pretty rough looking, but it's actually very solid.
Plans include 4.10s, a 5-speed, discs, KYBs, and a 1 1/8 front bar. It's going to be as light as possible; target is an even ton.
The 170 is staying (recently rebuilt), but will be treated to a cam, ported and shaved head, exhaust, induction (super BBD or Holley/Offy, have both, haven't decided). Maybe I'll put long rods in it, or maybe a turbo later on, we'll see. Meantime, it feels soooooo good!
