I noticed a clutch linkage problem with my

64 Dart 4spd car about two weeks ago. my pedal was hanging on its way back up. the clutch worked fine, engaged and disengaged with no problems, I just had use my toe and pull the pedal back up.... It finally gave up the ghost last weekend went the pedal went to the floor and didn't affect the clutch at all.

well I got the bottom of the problem, my z-bar cracked along the tube and the arm on the bellhousing side bent back.

so if anyone has a 63-66 A-body z-bar for a slant six that they can spare,, email me at doug@autohobbydigest.com. I'm open to trading (christmas budget has purse strings way too tight) I have a 67-76 A-body slant six z-bar I'll trade, as well as various slant six parts, like a set of 170 push rods... if you aren't interested in trading, let me know what you want for the z-bar.

Merry Christmas!

I searched for a while just to find a z-bar for my '65. I'm still looking for the 3 bolt plate that attaches to the fender for the pivit bolt (Hint, hint). It should weld up as good as new. Faster and shouldn't cost much. Just my 2c...

Doug, I'll go dig around in the garage. I have the one out of my '66 I think. (I sent one to someone else, but I think it was the one out of my '71.)

We make our own-with roller bearings and all. Just think about it and start to it.

Don't know about the Z-bar, but the 3-bolt plate should still be floating around the garage, want me to look for it tonight?
