Great job getting a meeting together, looks like a good time. I bet I could come-up with an old SSCA mailing list of SoCal members if you want to do another meet and don't mind doing a mailing. ($)

The LA chapter used to be pretty big and would pull-in 40-50 cars to their meets back in the early 90s

I'd love to see 40-50 slant sixes at the Spring Fling. That'd show 'em. I'm sure to have my car together by then. I'm sure those of us who were at the Carrows gathering would be willing to coodinate another meeting. I learned alot. I actually got see a factory 4-speed 1965 car.

Does anyony know the people who organize the Spring Fling Event? A simple phone call to them ASAP could get you a speciaL SL6 class, then it is just a matter of getting the word out.
Someone just needs to "pick-up the ball and run..."

Hey All,

Yeah, we had a blast out there with only a few cars. Lots of tech talk and random stories and good times. I regretted after we all split up that we didn't give/get rides in people's cars. If we have another meet before I leave (March), then maybe we can do that too.

These are the guys who sponser Spring Fling. It's a GREAT event. Last spring there were 600ish cars there from all over the west. For those of you who are tired of swap meets where it all Phord and Bowtie, It's all MOPAR. I've seen a few Offenhouser and Clifford intakes there. I bought my complete Weber setup there. Lots of A-bodys.

I'll contact them this week and see what they say
