When I did my conversion on my 73 Duster, I just got a Carter 2bbl from a 73 318. That way it would have the same vacuum ports, etc.

I found a bunch in a yard in Florida, bought two that still had the tag on them and had one of thew rebuild. I believe they are more readily available on the east coast. Donors are Aspens and Volares.

Chuck, I think you are more than correct!
I can't find a 2 barrel anywhere here in northern CA. Only one I have been able to get ahold of is a Rochester that is loaded with connections and holes that I can only guess as to what connects to them! I did find a number on it and it's listed in my Chiltons but no diagrams as to what connects where. Since I am running a '69 vehicle I only need to connect the fuel and a line for the vacuum advance on the distributor and a line to the PCV and that leaves about 3 more holes in the damn thing than I need!

Oh well, guess I will just keep looking and hoping to find a good 2 barrel or just go looking for a 390 to put on it.

Later,
Dan

OK, who wants my super six carb? Manifold? I am in norther ca. It's a naked 49 stater from texas. I was thinking $40/best offer for the carb and same for the manifold. Would recomend a dual stage webber instead, or the 390 (yeah, I like the 390!!!!!!!!!!)
