Finally picked up a 71 swinger with a 198 sixer, three on the tree.

I was going to keep her for myself, but my daughter's friend who's 17 wanted it badly.
I saw the look on his face and he was ready to fight me for it so I bought it, but he can't get it until he pays me for it in full.
Lord only knows how long this will take, but I'm having fun driving it.

It needs a clutch due to some serious chatter and bearing noise, and it has developed an annoying exhaust leak at the choke well gasket which I have found out that this is another one of those insanely hard to find items.

I could have bought a mustang with every part under the sun available, but why in the world would I do that?

I will try to post pics of the car, but I'm not sure how to navigate the site, so I'll try to give it my best shot.

It's really nice to have something cool to drive.
I really wish I had found this car years ago.

any auto parts store ought to hace that gasket ...you might need to buy complete intake/exhast set to get ,which you'll need to replace anyway

I'll have to check and see if it comes with the intake/exhaust gasket kit, but I have been unsuccessful in finding anyone who carries the choke gasket.

I've tried all my local parts suppliers and nobody can get them.
