Here's a silly question for you all but here goes anyway.
Does anyone know if the front side marker lights on the 1968 A bodies accept the replaceable light bulb in the same way as the rear side marker lights? The only reason I ask is because I need to change my front bulbs on the Signet and the backsides still have undercoating sprayed on them!! They look the same as the rear but are very stubborn and I don't want to break anything I would regret later.

Thanks all,

No! You have to un-screw the big nut then remove the light assembly from the fender. The bulb socket then unscrews from the lens. You could likely unscrew the bulb socket while the lens is still in the fender but it's much easier if you remove the whole thing.
