I'm wondering if I should use any sort of washer on the 3 bolts that join the intake and exhaust manifold on my 63 Dart. The old manifold had one on the bolt closest to the block, but there were none on the other two bolts.

Also, regarding brass washers. There is mention made of conical brass washers in the manifold installation link on this site. The brass washers I have are just round, thick (about 1/8 inch) washers with about a 3/8 hole. Are these the correct ones to use on the front and rear studs? why such a big hole? Or are these bogus washers from someone's part bin?

Thanks,
Edgar

I ordered new washers from the dealer a couple years ago, and i got the same "flat" (non-conical) brass washers with a seemingly large hole in them as well. I went ahead and used them and never had any leaks. Dont know if that helped or not....
